Privacy notice
This site is a personal portfolio. It runs no third-party analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts, and it sets no cookies. There is no contact form and no account. The sections below describe exactly what is recorded and why.
What is recorded when you visit
Page requests are logged server-side by the site itself. Each record contains your IP address; the time of the visit in UTC; the approximate country, region and city and the timezone, as reported by the hosting network for that IP address; the path you requested; the referring URL if your browser sent one; and your browser user-agent string.
How location is determined
Location is approximate and derived from network metadata attached to the request by Cloudflare. The site never asks your browser for GPS coordinates and does not use the Geolocation API; the browser geolocation permission is denied outright by the site’s Permissions-Policy header.
What is not done
No cookies are set. No browser fingerprinting is performed. No third-party analytics, tag manager, advertising or social tracking code is loaded — the page loads no scripts, styles, fonts or images from any other origin. Visit records are never exposed to the browser or to any public endpoint, are not sold, and are not shared with anyone.
Contacting me
The contact section links directly to a phone number, an email address and public profiles. There is no form on this site and no message is stored here. If you email or call, that conversation lives in the ordinary place — my mailbox or my phone — and not in this site’s database.
Retention
Visit records older than 90 days are deleted automatically. A scheduled Cloudflare Worker dedicated to this portfolio runs the deletion once a day against this site’s own database; it has no public endpoint and nothing else can trigger it.
Access
Visit records are held in a private Cloudflare D1 database belonging only to this portfolio. There is no analytics endpoint on this site — the read API that existed in an earlier version was removed. The records are readable only by the site owner through authenticated Cloudflare tooling.
Requests
If you would like the records associated with your visit removed, email me using the address in the contact section and say so. This notice describes the implementation honestly and makes no claim of certification or compliance with any specific regulation.
